Former Premier League Sides of Chelsea and Manchester United Head Coach Jose Mourinho has Signed as interim Manager for Tottenham Hotspur following the Sack of Mauricio Pochettino on Teusday by the London Club.
Jose Mourinho while speaking to Spurs official website was on quote to have said " I am excited to be joining a club with such a great heritage and such Passionate Suppourters, the Quality in both the squad and the academy excites me. Working with these players is what has attracted me."
In like vein, Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy spoke glowingly of Jose Mourinho, saying "In Jose we have one of the most successful managers in football. He has a wealth of experience, can inspire teams and is a great tactician. He has won Honours at every club he has coached. We believe he would bring energy and belief to the dressing room."
Spurs would be Jose's third English Premiership league side after winning three top-flight titles in two seasons at Chelsea then lifting the EFL Cup and UEFA Europa League trophies in in two and a half years at Manchester United..
Jose Mourinho Started out Coaching at Porto, where he won the UEFA Europa league and Champions League in successive seasons before he took over at Chelsea FC back in year 2004. He secured a Back to Back Premier league title in three years at the Stamford bridge then Moved to Inter Milan to ply his trade and won the Champions League in a season that saw Inter's Treble at the San-Siro 2009/2010.
Jose still Powered Real Madrid to the La Liga Title before he went back to Chelsea to win the 2014/2015 English Premiership.
At age 56, Mourinho took charge of Manchester United between May 2016 and December 2018.
