Just the other day, in the Belgian First Division A, Nigerian International, Victor Osimhen set a new record for scoring the fastest goal in the entire History of the Belgium First Division.
Osimhen laced a shot past his opposing goal keeper Sinañ Bolat in just exactly 8.15 seconds by the referees watch in opening the scoring between Sporting Charleroi's 3-2 eventual loss to Antwerp.
The previous record for this category for fastest goal was set by Ezekiel August 11th 2013 at 10.8 seconds.
It also happened that Osimhen had already been crowned the winner of the Nigeria Golden Boot, With this fastest goal adding up his goal tally to 19 league goals..
