Credible reports reaching our News desk at omascope.com suggest President Muhammadu Buhari had earlier today summoned Governor Ganduje of Kano and his erstwhile predecessor Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
Recall that lately tensions has been brewing between the two political kano heavy weight politicians with a call from the kano state commissioner of Police asking Senator Kwankwaso not to visit Kano on his proposed Jan 30th visit, claiming such a visit could derail the peace of the state with Kwankwaso insisting on going ahead with the proposed visit.
The two kano politicians were summoned by the president Monday to the villa in what is a move supposed to avert breakdown of law and order.
Sources at the presidential villa said Governor Ganduje was first to arrive in company of two current senators and two members of the House of Representatives from Kano state.
After the meeting that lasted over an hour, governor Ganduje was said to have refused to speak with state house correspondents.
It was believed Senator Kwankwaso was still scheduled to meet with Vice president Yemi osibajo over the same issues President Buhari summoned both parties for.
Prior to this time, speaking through his spokesperson Binta Sipikin, Senator kwankwaso had insisted nobody could stop him from visiting his Kano Home stating that he was embarking on the visit with 3 international media houses and seven aerial surveillance drone.
The outcome of the meeting is mostly going to be seen 30th January whether or not Senator Kwankwaso visits Kano as scheduled.
