Little wonder in Politics they say there are no permanent friends nor permanent foes but only permanent interest.
Today at the Council of States meeting, President Muhammadu Buhari was seen in warm handshake with most top politicians that have opposed or lambasted his administration in recent time.
Governor Fayose of Ekiti state being one of the formost critique of President Muhammadu Buhari and Former President Olusegun Obasanjo who had written a damning letter to President Buhari were two of the people that drew most attention when they were all smiles in warm handshakes with Buhari.
This has left a lot of online commentaty from different commentators.
One would have thought after all the critiquing anf opposition to this Buhari's administration, Governor Fayose would never see eye to eye with President Buhari let alone have a warm handshake with him just as would have been the case with chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
Like the saying goes in politics, there are no permanent friends nor permanent foes but only permanent interests.
