The Presidents Visit to Russia for the Russia-Africa Summit has started to yeild its own fruits
If for nothing atleast, the visit would Strengthen Nigerian-Russian Bilateral Relationship.
The Smile on Putin's face says it all.

That the Trip would be grounds to lay Agreement on Joint Venture between Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Russian based Lukoil, to focus on Refinery Revitalisation
That Nigerian and Russia agreed to revive and solidify the venture between NNPC and Russia's Gazprom for gas infrastructure development in Nigeria.
That President Buhari requested for the return of Russia, on a government to government basis, to Complete and Lunch the abandoned Ajakuta Steel Rolling Mill, and that the Request was accepted by President Putin.
Further Benefits of Buhari'a trip to Russia also was that Russia agreed to construct a 1,400 kilometer Rail Line from Lagos to Calabar.
That there were discussions on Russia planning to establish a nuclear power plant in Nigeria saying Putin said next step should be commencement of construction.
That also President Buhari agreed to renew Nigerian-Russia Military Technical Agreement, "Within the shortest possible time". This agreement will propel Nigeria's effort to purchase military hardware from Russia on government-to government basis, and also underpin training.
That President Putin agreed to support Nigeria with Military equipment, infrastructure and training.
That President Buhari Assured speedy resolution of entanglement surrounding matters of Aluminium Smelters Company of Nigeria, ALSCON, Ikot Abasi, Akwa-Ibom state.
That Russia assured Nigerians additional scholarships and also promise Russian support for Nigeria's effort to attain self sufficiency in wheat production amd fertilizer production. Stating that Russia is the Number one wheat producer in the world and also rich in potassium
That Nigeria and Russia agreed to work to organize a joint commission meeting to review and ratify all agreements in intergovernmental Nigeria-Russia joint Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Protocol of November 11, 2016.
That President Buhari Asked Russian President Putin to suppourt Nigerias aspiration for permanent membership of the UN Security Council.
It would be fair we only term these giant strides as fruits from Russia.
